Using the Rich Text Editor
The rich text editor can be used in many areas of the Website Builder. These include:
Editing your page content in Pages and Content
Editing the content of panels in the Panel Library
Editing the content of your page footer in Template Design
Editing the detailed information of products in the Product Editor
Opening the rich text editor.
Press
to open the rich text editor. The Rich Text Editor will open up as shown, you will see any existing content in the editable area.

The content area is the area between the toolbars and path structure which you can see down the bottom. This is where you will type all of your content, insert images, links and more!
The Rich Text Editor Layout
There are 3 parts to the rich text editor.
Toolbar: This contains buttons which allow you to style text, insert images, insert files, save your content and more.
Editable Area: This is where you actually type and edit the content that will show on your website.
Path Structure: This shows the structure for the current selection or where your cursor is. It allows you to easily see if you are on a paragraph, link, heading etc. You can actually click on parts of the path structure to highlight them.

Adding Text to your Content
Adding text to your content is simply a matter of typing where you want the text. Click somewhere in the editable area, and start typing.
To change the look of your text, use the style pulldown. This will allow you to change text to headings or paragraphs which are styled in the Template Design.

It is important to try and use styles all throughout your pages, rather than coloring text individually, underlining text, bolding and italicizing text. This is because the template controls the look of these styles, so you can easily change the look of these styles across your entire site. If you use specific colors and formatting here you can only change it by coming back and editing this page.
Using the toolbar
With the toolbar you can do many things to edit your content. Try the different buttons out too see what they do, most of the operations are very similar to other Rich Text Editors such as MS Word.
