Step 2: Uploading Files
What are files?
Files are various sort of documents which you want people to be able to download from your website. Often they will include pdf files, word document files and excel spreadsheet files.
Adding a file
1. Open the file library

2: Select an existing folder that you want to create the file in OR create a new folder by pressing the 'Add New' icon. If you create a new folder be sure to select it once it is created.

3: Click on 'Add File' to add a new item in the middle section and then select it.

4: Enter a name for this file where it has "A New Item". This is the name of the file that people will download, you do not need to include the file extension in the name, this will be done automatically when the file is downloaded.

5: Press 'Browse' to select the file on your PC to upload. Either double click on the file you want to upload, or highlight it by clicking once and then press the 'Open' button on the bottom right.

6: Press save
to make your changes, this could take a few minutes if you are uploading a large file - depending on your internet connection.
By now you have probably noticed that the process for uploading files and images is very similar. Every section is designed this way using a common format where you have categories to store your items, and items which have their own settings.
