Loading the Website Builder

Logging in

To log into your website builder, you need to goto the secure location provided to you.  This will popup a window prompting you for your login email and password.

Once you press Log in the website builder will start to load.

Load On Demand

As of version 1.03.03b we have implemented a new Load on Demand style system to get you in as quickly as possible.  This is a very efficient system both in terms of speed and bandwidth.  When you login in the system loads almost instantly, the diskspace calculation takes the most time but this can be skipped as well with the click of a button. 

Once you are in the system the first time you visit a section, for example Pages and Content, it will load once on demand.  After loaded it remains loaded, along with any other sections you visit.

We have found this to be the most effective loading method, and it will suit dial-up users and broadband users alike.

Previous Loading Method

Previously we opted for a completely preloading system, while this worked fine, if you just wanted to login to edit a couple of pages it meant you loaded all of the other sections as well.  Normally this didn't matter but as the modules expanded with many more sections, it did cause some wasted bandwidth.
