FAQ: General

Q: When will the Help Sections be finished?

A: The help section will be an on going thing since we are always changing and adding features to the system.  Having said that we are a bit behind on the help for the current sections and are trying hard to catch up.  We do respond rapidly to support emails however so this hasn't been a problem.  If you have a particular section you need help on be sure to let us know and we will give that section priority.  Once the major modules are completed we will be able to focus more of our attention here.

Q: Does the website builder require any special software to run?

A: No, Spinsoft Website Builder runs entirely online, all you need is a PC that can run Internet Explorer 6.  You don't even need to install any active X controls, so you can access the website builder anywhere in the world.

Q: Can I use my own hosting for Spinsoft Website Builder?

A: Currently we require that you use the hosting which is included with the license.  We do plan on making this a feature in the future, but for now we need to control the server settings and monitor the product to ensure everything runs smoothly.  While we don't require any unusual server software, most servers have different configurations which could cause problems.

Q: When will the Newsletter Module be released?

A: We are working very hard and trying to get the Newsletter Module out in early October 2006.

Q: When will the E-Commerce Module be released?

A: This module should be out shortly after the Newsletter Module, we are working hard and hoping to have it ready by November 2006, fingers crossed!

Q: Can Spinsoft Website Builder run in Firefox or other browsers?

A: Currently IE6 is required to run our software, once we have released all of our modules we intend on expanding support to multiple browsers, but our current focus is getting all of the features and modules out that many people are requesting.

Keep in mind that the front end (the website) that is produced by the Website Builder, is compatible with all major browsers on both PC and Mac.  We have done extensive testing on many browsers and versions with great success.  The browser limitation is only for the Website Builder where you manage your site, not the part that people visit!
