Adding Pages
Before starting these steps, make sure you have the 'Pages and Content' section selected in the Base Module.

Step 1: Select the folder that you want to create the image in OR create a new folder.

Step 2: Press 'Add Page' to create a new page item. Select the new item, it will be called 'A New Item'.

When you select the item, the settings will be shown in the right area.
Step 3: Enter a name for this page where it has "A New Item". This is the name of the physical web page that people will visit.
!! Important Information about the Page Name !!

The page name is the physical name of the page (without the .php file extension) that is shown in the address bar of the your browser as in the image above. For this reason Pages have special restrictions for the page name to ensure everything works properly and displays nicely.
- The page name must not contain spaces, use the underscore instead (e.g my_page_name). If we allowed you to use spaces when people visit the page the address would look like 'my%20page%20name' since spaces are replaced by the '%20'. Not very pretty!
- You must use only letters or numbers (or a combination of both) for your page name. The underscore '_' and hyphen '-' are also allowed. You cannot use any other characters.
- We recommend that you always use all lowercase page names for consistency. Linux servers which are commonly used, mean file names are case sensitive! So if you have a page mypage.php and you give someone a link to MyPage.php it will not work. For this reason if you always use lowercase, you always know to give people lowercase links and will never have a problem.

Step 4: Enter a Title, Description and some Keywords for the page.
The Title is what shows up at the top of the browser window

The Description is what shows up when your page appears in a search engine

The Keywords are used by some search engines to help identify your page, and are used for internal site searching.
When entering keywords, enter variations and keyphrases separated by commas. For example:
website builder, web builder, content management, cms, content management system, diy website
Please see the Search Engine Optimization document for full details on Title, Description and Keywords
Step 5. Save the page by pressing the save
button.
Step 6. Preview the live page with the page preview
button. The website page will open in a new window showing us the current page.
This new page is now accessible and live on the internet!
It won't look complete however as we still need to select a template and put some content in. See the further information below for help on these topics.
